Getting a UAE Merchant to a Live Store in One Minute
Tizara sells the outcome — a working online store, live in a minute, with no code. That promise only lands if the platform itself is fast and effortless, because a merchant who cannot publish should not need to call support. We rebuilt the storefront experience and onboarding flow so the fastest possible path to a live store is the default path.

The Client
Tizara serves UAE businesses that want to sell online without hiring a developer or agency. The competitive set includes both international commerce platforms and local builders, and the buying decision is made quickly on price and perceived effort. Merchants are typically small — grocery, pharmacy, boutique retail — and many are launching their first store while running the business itself.
The Challenge
For a store-builder product, the marketing site and the onboarding flow are the same product. Every promise made on the page has to be repaid inside the product, and any friction between them costs signups at the exact moment intent is highest.
Signup Dropped at Setup
Merchants arrived from the marketing page ready to build, but abandoned during setup. The gap between 'launch in a minute' and the real experience was where intent leaked away.
Setup Required Agency Help
Merchants without a developer still needed someone technical to finish configuration, defeating the no-code promise and pushing them to higher-priced plans.
Mobile-First Merchants, Desktop Tools
Shop owners manage their catalogue far more on a phone than a laptop. Editing products and handling orders on a small screen was slow and error-prone.
Payments and Orders Fragmented
Local payment expectations and WhatsApp-based ordering were essential in the market. Anything not handled natively pushed merchants into external tools.
Pricing Confusion
Plan structure and the first-month offer were not explained clearly at the decision point, producing questions before signup instead of signups.
The Solution
We optimised the entire path from landing to first published store as one journey: a marketing page that makes the minute-store promise concretely, and an onboarding flow that reaches a live store without agency help — including on a phone.
Our Approach: We instrumented the funnel end to end and found the leak was concentrated between plan selection and first published product, not at the pricing step as assumed. So we rebuilt onboarding around one critical path — plan, template, first product, go live — and removed every optional decision from it. Merchant-side editing was treated as a first-class mobile surface because that is where small merchants actually run their stores.

A phased approach ensured value delivery at every milestone — not just at the finish line.
Funnel Analysis

Onboarding Architecture
Week 3-6Redesigned onboarding as a single critical path to a live store, removing optional decisions.
Merchant Experience
Week 6-12Built the mobile-first merchant tools, template library, payments, and WhatsApp ordering.
Optimisation & Launch
Week 12-16Tuned the funnel from activation data and launched the rebuilt onboarding.
Measurable Impact

Support Tickets Per Store
Merchants who complete setup independently need far less support after launch.
“We sell a promise made in a minute. If setting up the store takes longer than the ad says, we lose the sale and get a support ticket. Rebuilding onboarding around that single moment changed our numbers more than anything else.”
