Giving a Manufacturer the Credibility Platform Its Business Demands

Jamuna Paper Mill supplies institutional and trade buyers, where credibility is the qualification. Their website could not carry it — no accessible specifications, no verifiable sustainability record, and content frozen years ago. We rebuilt a corporate platform that lets technical and institutional buyers evaluate the company properly.

The Client

Jamuna Paper Mill is an industrial paper manufacturer serving institutional and trade customers. Buyers in this segment qualify suppliers on evidence: production capacity, product specifications, certifications, and environmental practice. The company had the substance but the website presented it as a dated brochure, which mattered precisely because most of its business depends on relationships with procurement teams who check before they call.

The Challenge

A manufacturer competing on institutional credibility was presenting itself as a small supplier. Procurement teams evaluating the company had to request documents by email before they had any basis for confidence, and nobody on the corporate side could keep the site current.

!

Specifications Not Accessible

Technical buyers needed product data and specifications to evaluate suitability. They were not on the site, so every enquiry began with an email request for documents.

!

Sustainability Without Evidence

Genuine environmental programmes were presented as marketing claims. Institutional and export buyers screening for environmental credentials found nothing they could actually evaluate.

!

Content Out of Date

The site had not been meaningfully updated in years. Stale news and reports communicated stagnation regardless of what was happening at the mill.

!

No Structured Enquiry Path

Buyers, suppliers, distributors, and institutional partners all arrived through one general contact route, producing enquiries with no context attached.

!

Weak Manufacturer Visibility

Manufacturer and sourcing-partner searches landed on third-party listings rather than the company's own site.

The Solution

We rebuilt the site as an institutional-grade corporate platform: a specification library, sustainability reporting with verifiable evidence, a clear production profile, and separate enquiry paths for the audiences that qualify suppliers.

Our Approach: We worked with production and sustainability teams to identify which evidence actually influences procurement decisions — capacity figures, certifications, process data — and structured the reporting around that rather than around internal departments. Documentation was modelled as a versioned content type so the corporate team could publish updated data without a developer, which is what kept the staleness problem from returning.

“Buyers used to email us asking for documents before they trusted us enough to talk. Now the evidence is on our site, and the conversation starts much further along.”
