A Consumer Electronics Storefront Built for Trust in a Price-Sensitive Market
Selling premium electronics online in Bangladesh means shoppers are comparing prices hard and trusting the seller less than they trust the brand. Dazzle needed a storefront that made genuine products, pricing, and financing obvious on every page. We rebuilt it around product confidence first and checkout speed second, so shoppers who arrive sceptical leave able to buy.

The Client
Dazzle sells consumer electronics across phones, tablets, laptops, smart watches, audio, smart TVs, home appliances, and accessories — competing directly on price against physical retail and informal market sellers. Customers frequently arrive from campaign traffic on a mid-range Android phone, and the majority of purchases are decided quickly once the shopper is convinced the product is genuine and the price is fair.
The Challenge
In this category the storefront has to answer the buyer's real questions immediately: is this genuine, is this the best price, and can I pay in the way I actually pay. The previous build answered none of these quickly, and shoppers left to compare elsewhere on mobile.
Authenticity Not Communicated
Genuine products with warranty are Dazzle's core promise, but that was not visible at the point of decision. Shoppers comparing listings had no way to distinguish a trustworthy seller from a grey-market one.
Price Comparison Killed the Session
Shoppers opened competitor tabs to compare prices mid-session. Without visible best-price messaging and clear offer framing, every visit became a research session that ended on someone else's site.
Financing and Payment Friction
EMI and cash on delivery are decisive purchase factors in this market. A generic checkout flow buried these options and lost orders that were ready to complete.
Heavy Mobile Traffic
Most traffic arrives on mid-range Android devices over mobile data. Slow image weights and full page reloads made a catalogue of hundreds of SKUs feel expensive to browse.
Nine Categories, No Coherent Browse
Nine product families were presented as flat lists. Shoppers without a specific model in mind had no guided path through the catalogue, so most entered, scrolled, and exited.
The Solution
We rebuilt the storefront around product confidence and purchase convenience: trust signals and best-price framing on every product, category navigation designed for browsing rather than scrolling, and a checkout that surfaces EMI and cash on delivery as first-class choices.
Our Approach: We started by watching how shoppers actually moved through the catalogue on mobile, which showed that most sessions began with a category rather than a specific search. That made category browse the highest-leverage surface, so we designed those pages first. We also placed trust and financing signals against the decision point — on product and cart, not buried in a footer — after session analysis showed that reassurance messages close browsing loops.
Category-driven browse across nine product families with mega-menu navigation and in-category filtering
Product pages foregrounding genuine-product status, warranty, and best-price messaging at the decision point
Checkout with EMI and cash on delivery presented as primary payment choices rather than secondary options
Offer and campaign modules for limited-time deals, pre-orders, and EMI promotions
Order tracking surfaced to customers after purchase, reducing inbound status calls
Image and performance pipeline tuned for mid-range Android devices on mobile data

How We Got There
A phased approach ensured value delivery at every milestone — not just at the finish line.
Analytics Baseline
Week 1-2Instrumented the existing store, mapped mobile sessions by entry point, and confirmed category browse as the dominant session type.
Category & Trust Design
Week 2-4Designed category browse for nine families and placed trust and financing signals at the point of decision.
Storefront Build
Week 4-7Built category, product, and campaign experiences with the offer and pre-order modules wired in.
Checkout & Launch
Week 7-9Rebuilt checkout around EMI and cash on delivery, ran parallel-store validation, then migrated live traffic.
Measurable Impact
Every metric is independently verifiable. These aren't vanity numbers — they're business outcomes.
-54%
Mobile Checkout Abandonment
Checkout rebuilt around EMI and cash on delivery removed the payment-stage drop-off that had been losing completed-intent orders.
2.1s → 0.6s
Page Transition Time
Client-side routing removed full page reloads, cutting perceived wait between browsing categories and product pages.
+47%
Mobile Orders
Mobile order volume grew substantially once browsing and checkout stopped penalising the smallest, most common screen.
Same Day
Campaign Publishing
Offer, deal, and pre-order modules let the internal team publish promotions without a developer request.
“Our customers do not just compare prices — they decide whether we are a real seller. Putting the genuine-product and best-price message right where they scroll made that decision much easier.”
